1. About us

Midlands Student Halls operates an online directory connecting students with verified student accommodation providers and trade services across the Midlands. Registered in England & Wales.

2. Using the platform

You must be 16 or over to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, respect other users, and use the messaging features only for genuine enquiries relating to accommodation or services listed on the platform.

3. Landlords & trade providers

Listings must be truthful, lawful and comply with all applicable housing, HMO licensing and consumer-protection requirements. We may verify documents and remove listings that breach these terms.

4. Bookings & contracts

Any tenancy, booking or service agreement is between you and the third-party landlord or provider. Midlands Student Halls is a directory and messaging platform and is not a party to those contracts.

5. Payments & subscriptions

Paid subscriptions for landlords and trade providers are billed through Stripe. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.

6. Content & moderation

You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a licence to display it on the platform. Messages may be reviewed by moderators where reports are made. Illegal, harassing or misleading content will be removed.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts of landlords, tenants or trade providers, or for indirect losses arising from use of the platform.
